Our DDA exists to lead in the preservation and enhancemeent of downtown Grass Lake. We provide guidance and resources to our downtown community to ensure a resilient economy and the protection of our historical and natural/recreational resources.
In 2030, Grass Lake will be a vibrant and walkable downtown where restaurants, retailers and residential spaces combine to provide desired resources for local residents and a destination for visitors. Historic preservation, access to recreational elements, unique venues and a welcoming streetscape will be key in creating our downtown.
The Grass Lake DDA’s projects are guided by the Village Master Plan and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) plan, ensuring strategic growth and revitalization. We are currently in the process of updating our Development Plan to align with our community’s evolving needs.
